Debut galloper registers first crop success!
10:35 AM Friday Mar 12, 2010

The Oaks Stud’s young Stravinsky sire Keeninsky realised his first winner at Ellerslie on Wednesday.

The sire’s flag bearer came in the form of debut galloper Customised (NZ), who took out Race 3’s The Gucci 1100 (2YO,1100m) for jockey Mark Du Plessis and trainers Robert Priscott and Clayton Chipperfield.

The smart 2YO is from the sire’s first crop to race, with good things ahead for the sire also being pointed to with October’s Listed Wellesley Stakes placegetter, Botafogo (NZ).

A brilliant 2YO himself, Keeninsky (NZ) won the Gr.1 Manawatu Sires’ Produce Stakes before going on to take the Gr.1 Telegraph Hcp at three.
