The Stravinsky racemare Bird of Fire (NZ) bears top weight duties in the Gr.3 Hyderabad Race Club Stakes (4YOM, 1200m) at Caulfield.
Carry 57.5kg, the 5YO racemare boasts victory in last year’s Gr.2 SAJC Queens of the South Stakes (1600m) and was also successful last season in the Gr.2 Matriarch Stakes (2000m) and the Gr.3 MVRC Tesio Stakes (1600m).
Faring 2kg’s better off in Saturday’s said race will be the second (NZ) hope Velocitea (NZ) (Volksraad).
Velocitea (NZ) is recommended to the task with a win in last September’s Gr.3 MRC How Now Stakes over 1200m.
